New Photo Added - Above And BeyondSorry for the being down for awhile, but have been dealing with a wicked sinus infection and even though I've been able to edit here and there, I haven't been able to post or shoot much in the past two weeks. The latest image added today is of The Golden Gate Bridge north tower in low fog shot close up at Vista Point using a telephoto lens. This was one of those days where the fog basically held on all day for the most part and I was able to move around Marin and The Bay Area getting different kinds of shots throughout the day. You'll probably have noticed by now that most of my shots are in between 70mm and 400mm and this one sits right in at about 200mm. Because it's alittle after the sun had risen in a clear sky and I enjoy long exposures no matter what time of day it is, I used a 10-stop ND Filter and was able to present this to you as an uncropped 10 second exposure. There's something about keeping images as clean and uncluttered when thinking about pieces that will hang well on a wall. Sometimes when there's too much color, texture, and real estate in an image, it's easy to get lost in what you're trying to convey. Unconventionally at times, I'll take the leading lines and foreground out of the equation and hit the viewer over ahead with the main subject.
